December is upon us, and as I prepare to close out the year, I find myself in the midst of an exciting whirlwind—getting ready to move house and restarting work on my Seer series. Embracing Change and Celebration.
Purging and Packing 📦
Early next year I’ll be packing up and moving house!
It has given me a fantastic opportunity to declutter, and I’ve embarked on a mission to purge the house of things I don’t need. It’s amazing how much stuff I’ve accumulated over the years! Letting go of items that no longer serve a purpose has been liberating, making space not just physically, but mentally as well.
I don’t have exact dates yet, except it’s likely to decorating in January and moving February, which means less writing time.
Progress on the new Unicorn Series ✍️
I’m spending the run into the end of the year trying to re-establish a routine, and that starts with simply taking 30m every day to work on this book. Why this book? Mostly because it’s fun, new and without any existing world building or characters I have to line up. It’s a labour of love, and I’m thrilled with how the story is evolving.
Progress on the Seer Series ✍️
Amid the chaos of boxes and bubble wrap, the Seer series edits will get started again. I’ll be diving deep into the world of my characters, refining the plots and finally getting book 2 finished. I can’t wait to share more details and sneak peeks at the covers soon.
Finding Time to Celebrate 🎄
Of course, December wouldn’t be complete without getting ready for Christmas and the new year! Amidst the hustle and bustle, finding a moment to celebrate can be a challenge. This year, my celebrations are going to be a bit different with the move, but the spirit of the season remains the same. For me, it’s all about cherishing moments with loved ones and reconnecting with my creativity.
As I embrace the changes and celebrations this month, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your continued support and enthusiasm. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season filled with joy, peace, and a touch of magic.
Stay tuned for more updates and happy holidays!
Warm wishes,
Jemma Weir
