Week 1 July Camp Nano ends in 19778 words! I’m slightly ahead of Nano target, which is always nice, though its a long way to go before I get to the finish line.
Draft 3 of Battered by Storms has gone pretty well. There have been some sticky bits that I’d expected and a few parts where the plan didn’t quite hold up and needed some small tweaks. I’m going to need to go through and smooth over a few points again before I send to Beta, but it should just be a proof read, which is much faster after I finish draft 3.
To stay on target, I’ll need to hit 36290 by next Saturday. Fingers crossed!
