If you’ve noticed anything different about how my emails look or arrive lately, you’re not imagining it. I’ve moved my newsletter over from MailerLite to EmailOctopus.
This is one of those behind the scenes changes that matters much more to me than it does to you, but I’d rather tell you plainly than have you wonder why something looks slightly different one week.
Why the move
The short version: EmailOctopus lets me keep growing my list without hitting a pricing wall the way I would have on MailerLite. It’s the right tool for where things are right now.
It’s not a perfect swap. I’ve traded away a few things I liked, some of the automation options and the pop up subscribe forms I had before are more limited here. But those are conveniences, not essentials, and the trade felt like the sensible one to make.
What this means for you
Nothing you need to do, in theory. Your subscription has carried across and you should keep getting these emails exactly as normal.
If anything does look off though, a broken link, a missing image, or if you notice these emails have started landing in spam or promotions instead of your main inbox, please let me know. It’s genuinely helpful to hear about it, and an easy fix if I know it’s happening.
That’s it, nothing exciting, just a bit of housekeeping so nothing catches you by surprise.
