This weekend I finished the redraft of Ride the Rainbow. It’s a bit shorter than I would have wanted the redraft to come out – 48k – but revision will help me sort that.
This story has been amazing fun to write 95% of the time. I have a lot of really great characters, and they have given me this beautiful world that I love. I also now have an insane amount of ideas that I want to put into it, some short, some long so I definitely want to be revisiting this place.
The book gets to have a little rest as I put it to one side for at least a week, then I can start getting into the revision. When I come back to it, I will be posting more about Holly Lisle How to revise your Novel process and how I am using it to get this book into shape.
